i'm kind of turning into the crazy lady, obsessively checking your blog to see how many people have thrown their names in (and to check out my competition). so i'm undoubtedly inflating your stats a little bit. i can't stop myself. giveaways are so fun.

and seriously, you're right, they make SUCH GOOD gifts!

tiffany

okay... hello!
i love all the things you make! you're quite crafty and i love those little ties! one of my students likes to wear ties on completely random days! i love it!

Nick

wow.. ok. Hi bossy!

Hi Alysha,
I clicked here from Katie (Katiedid). It's very nice to meet you. I knew Katie when I lived in New York. Now I live in Utah. I can see that like Katie you are incredibly talented and I am very jealous. I'll continue to check out your site. Hopefully I can learn from the two of you somehow. I too have a blog. I don't show off the wonderful things I've made because I don't make wonderful things. I admire those that do it for me and dream of being able to do it someday. But feel free to stop by and get to know me better. (http://shimmymom.blogspot.com)
Thanks for the invite.

Aloha Alysha!
Found your blog through Katie- love your makings! I also remember finding your blog when you were writing about your apartment fiascos and remodel in NYC- that was so amazing....and also your Maggie Gylenhall musings from the subway meeting- which I loved (:

My sister let me know about your give away on her blog. That dress is adorable.

I found your blog through Carrie C. and Michelle E. and I admit it - I like to read it and you make me want to sign up for sewing lessons.

*raises hand* I must admit that I too am probably contributing to the higher number of inflation, along with Katie, I've become obsessed with checking out the competition, though I don't quite understand why I want to win other than, well I like winning, or so I think, I haven't ever won, I just imagine that it feels nice. (P.S. Good luck today).

laura

alysha, i've been admiring your sewing regularly the past few months and am so impressed and inspired! and excited to see where it takes you. love, laura (w) daines.
